Is it possible to sew holes in a hoody?

Yesterday for a laugh someone made holes in my leavers hoody with a hole punch and I am really annoyed. Is there any way that I can fix it? It has been punched once in the sleeve going right through both sides so it's got four holes. My Mum said it would be too difficult to sew because the material would bunch together.
