Race and college admissions question?

So, my family is from Spain and am very proud of our spanish heritage, and i know that the term "hispanic" can expand to people coming from spain. so my question is is that can i put down that i am hispanic, get away with it, and increase my chances of getting in? (i want to go to UPenn)
