How to stop a rat from chomping on her stitches?

I am here to help! My rat just had surgury, and our vet told us how to do this. Take a dixi cup and cut out the bottom. Take the wide part (the part that was open from the begining) and cut slits to be able to weave a string in and out arround that end of the cup. Then put that arround her neck and tie it loosly enough that she wont slip or of it. Then make sure the other end is JUST a little past her nose. It is just like the funnels that they make for dogs.
