When Lazarus died, before he was "resurrected", did he go to heaven or hell?

The answer of whether Lazarus went to Heaven or Hell or somewhere in between is always a matter of personal belief, or subjectivity, due to the large number of differing denominations who have their own beliefs and points of view. To give you an answer from my Christian point of view, the Day of Judgement by God our Father will almost certainly put Lazarus in Heaven because Jesus loved him. Also it is more important from my point of view to concentrate on the Day of Judgement which is yet to come, due to humanity going to Heaven or Hell for Eternity. The time leading up to that great day can be seen, I believe as negligible, due to that time span being comparatively speaking like a grain of sand on the beach when compared with the vastness of Eternity. Going back to your question though, some denominations may say Lazarus went to Hell, where I would add only for a very short time though when compared with Eternity, then would virtually be sure of Eternal Heaven on the Day of Judgement. Some denominations may say Lazarus went to Heaven first before his resurrection, I would add again for a very short time as compared to Eternal Heaven on the Day of Judgement. Other denominations may say he neither went to heaven or hell before his resurrection, again though my belief is this state of waiting would be for a very short time again when compared to the Eternity of Heaven.
