What is the best way to strike up a conversation with a cute stranger?

I'm a university student, and this semester there is a really sweet looking girl who sits in the opposite row from me in a pretty large cl (300 students). Being such a large cl, I'm unsure how I should go about talking to her. I usually don't have a problem in smaller cl settings, or in a lab, but such a large cl compounds and increases my anxiety of how to go about subtly and graciously introducing myself. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
